Saturday 8th September 2012 (6.30p.m) A warm sunny evening in Windsor, Berkshire - stopping off for coffee in a street cafe by the Castle, before continuing my drive back to Somerset from Surrey. xx

Just posting a link to a song that came up in conversation yesterday with a friend of mine... It's a live recording of Billy Connolly and me singing a loud and proud version of Van Morrison's 'Irish Heartbeat', complete with pipe band, at The Usher Hall, Edinburgh... sometime in the 90's. I hadn't thought of, or heard this track in ages until my friend mentioned it...so I thought I'd track it down and have a listen back. It's really good to hear again after all this time...I can only remember the power of the pipes and having to really sing out to be heard, especially at the very end, when the pipes come back in again and it's only me and them, while Billy shouts out to the audience. It was great to work with Billy - he's a lovely guy and this brings back memories of a fun time! xx

31st August 2012... In London and Kent this week. At the South Bank today - Gabriel's Wharf and the Tate Modern museum. At Canary Wharf now having a quiet drink and something to eat.

28th August - 1st September 2012 ....In London and Kent for a few days. Amongst other things, stopped off at the V&A (Victoria and Albert Museum) - the Renaissance Hall, where MoDa's Touch filmed model Erin O' Connor, incorporating part of the Gregorian version of my track 'Eden'.It's a truly beautiful building with so much to see that you could literally spend hours discovering so many precious treasures...Later in the week I stopped off at one of the pretty restaurants by the riverside at Canary Wharf. Although renowned for being London's financial hub, this district takes on an altogether more relaxed feel at the weekend....a chill in the late Summer air by the end of the evening  and the first signs of an approaching Autumn.          xx

...  In the orchard of the local Cider makers - a beautiful picturesque little place selling lots of different types of Cider, which they brew on site. The sun shone as I sat for a while under one of the many candy coloured parasols that filled the Tea Garden, as the gentle sound of  'Coldplay' drifted by in the afternoon air.
